Childhood of a Malaysian with Siblings
Do you have a little siblings living with you? What is it like of having a siblings? Today I would like to share some memories of having siblings.
Most of us watched post about sharing their interactives videos and pictures to social media. While some people watching those videos and pictures they might felt admire of them because they are the only child in the house. As they say, siblings relations bond is very powerful and important not only in childhood but over the course of a lifetime.
I have three little siblings, one brother and two sister. My sisters- Jasmine (not the rice or the princess) is four years younger than me, but they are not twins. We live and see each other everyday. We fight and play together We still continue to fight occasionally but always manage to make-up at the end of the day. We do things together most of the time.
One of the things we did was collecting McDonalds toys, from different comic series and movies. Untill now is I still buy happy meal because of the toy. From 2007 till now, these toys is still available to play, these toys is “older” than my little brother, and is time we pass these toys to him.

One of my childhood memories is playing pretend disco, especially when there’s a New Year or Christmas celebration. Our parents will buy little toys that have lights and sounds. At night, we turn off all the light in the living room, we play some music, bend the light stick and start our celebration.

When it comes to handling a little brother, it is time to train your patience. He will ask for many things, buy this and that, going to the arcade park or bring him shopping. Once I was little, I always request to go to the arcade park too, is fun playing and is an achievement when you gain pieces of tickets that you won .Now , when I’m grown up I just could not resist my little brother request, because he will look at me with the cute round eyes. So, in the end, I ended up playing Air Hockey, car racing and kids basketball machine together with him. It make me remind the scene my childhood.

Is extremely fun when two siblings start to argue, and you get to watch “a free movie”. Most of the time, the older sibling likes to bully the little one, and the little one cry. Even though what they argue for is rather trifle. Such as, the older one ate the last French fries, the older one snatched the little one’s toys, or the last scoop of pudding was swallowed by the elder one. When they cry, you know is a tough job to calm them down.
Figure 4 Didi upset because he lost the argument, and Jasmine tend to took a selfie to tease him.
In conclusion, having siblings is good childhood memories. Is fun and full of joyful, I’m grateful and appreciate of having siblings to make my life complete. Time flies, I always remind myself to spent time with them and not my phone, because once grown up, we have our own things to tend too.
